I. Introduction

The following Terms of Service supplement (are in addition to) the TinkerHost General Terms of Service located at https://tinkerhost.net/legal/terms.

This document outlines the additional terms you agree to when accessing the TinkerHost Domains platform. If you do not agree to the terms in this document in their entirety, do not access or use the TinkerHost Domains platform in any way.

II. Definitions

The following Terms apply when you view, access, or utilize our website or services located under the tinkerhost.net domain (Including all subdomains), hereby referred to as the “Service”. Our website and its contents will hereby be referred to as the “Site”. TinkerHost shall hereby be referred to as “We”, “Us”, or the “Company”.

Agreement to the following terms shall be further restricted to users who explicitly agree to these terms, or complete any of the following actions: complete a domain name search; add a domain to the shopping cart; register, renew, start or access the transfer of a domain name; access a domains management page. These actions define the usage of the “TinkerHost Domains Platform”, and will henceforth be known as such.

III. Privacy Policy

By creating a Service account and accessing the TinkerHost Domains Platform, you agree to our privacy policy located at https://tinkerhost.net/legal/privacy-policy, Stripe's Privacy Policy located at https://stripe.com/privacy, and the AWS Privacy Policy located at https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/.

IV. About The Service

The TinkerHost Domains Platform allows you (the “User”) to access additional features and services provided by the Company. Creating a TinkerHost Domains Platform account does not guarantee access to any Company Service.

The TinkerHost Domain Platform allows Users to complete one time payment charges, recurring payment charges (Multiple charges spanning a period of time), in return for domain registration, transfer, and renewal. The TinkerHost Domain Platform partners with Stripe for PII compliance and card processing, by creating a TinkerHost Payments account, you agree to Stripe's Privacy Policy (Located at https://stripe.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (Located at https://stripe.com/legal/ssa). The TinkerHost Domain Platform also partners with NameSilo for domain registration and management, by creating a TinkerHost Domain Platform account, you agree to NameSilo’s Terms of Service (Located at https://www.namesilo.com/support/v2/articles/general-terms/terms-and-conditions).

TinkerHost is not a registrar, and is not ICANN certified. The TinkerHost Domain Platform permissibly utilizes NameSilo’s services to offer domain registrations, renewals and transfers under the TinkerHost Domain Platform name. NameSilo is an ICANN accredited registrar.

V. Registration and User Conduct

When creating a TinkerHost Domain Platform account, you may be required to open a TinkerHost Payments account. The information connected to your TinkerHost Payments account will be used to create your TinkerHost Domain Platform account, it is your responsibility to keep this information up-to-date and accurate. TinkerHost Domain Platform account may be suspended and connected domains may be permanently lost if the information connected to your TinkerHost Payments account is invalid, incomplete, or out of date.

Your TinkerHost Domain Platform account is private, and belongs only to you. Do not share your account with others, even if you trust them. Inform the Service immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your account. We recommend you configure two-factor authentication in your account settings, and use a strong hard-to-guess password. You are responsible for your account, TinkerHost is not liable in any way for actions taken on your account, including but not limited to fraudulent charges, unwanted domain transfers or registrations, and invalid or incorrect data.

You must have a valid email address that can receive emails when you have a domain connected to your TinkerHost Domain Platform account. Failure to routinely check and address notifications (Including but not limited to random email verification messages) may result in the suspension of your Domain Platform account, and permanent loss of any connected domain names. Be aware of scams, TinkerHost will never ask for your personal information over email. If you are not sure if an email originated from TinkerHost, do not disregard the message as it may be important. VI. Usage Restrictions

You agree to use your TinkerHost Domain Platform account legally, and in good faith. Domain registrations and/or transfers should not be used to create, duplicate, share or otherwise make available (Publicly or privately) illegal content, explicit adult content, streaming services of copyrighted content without explicit permission, downloads of cracked/pirated software and other related content. The Service reserves the right to suspend and/or permanently remove any and all domains in violation of the terms without warning nor refund.

Failure to abide by the terms in this document, or any other TinkerHost Terms of Service you have agreed to may result in the immediate and permanent suspension of your TinkerHost Domain Platform account, and potentially your base Service account as well.

The Service may additionally suspend, permanently or temporarily, and with or without prior notice your TinkerHost Domains Platform account for any reason. The Service is not obligated to share the suspension reason with you, and may allow the outgoing transfer of domains in compliance with ICANN regulation at the Services sole discretion.

VII. Account Funds

The TinkerHost Domain Platform allows payment for domains and related services via account funds. When completing a transaction using your Account Funds, you signify your agreement to the TinkerHost Payments Terms of Service.

VIII. WHOIS Services

NameSilo performs WHOIS services on behalf of the Service. WHOIS services help prevent fraud and assist law enforcement offices with investigations.

TinkerHost offers a “Domain Privacy” feature to remove your personal information from the WHOIS database. This feature can be found on the domain management page and is enabled by default, but can be disabled at any time. Some 3rd party services check and save any changes to a domain’s WHOIS records. Removing or disabling the “Domain Privacy” feature at any time may provide your personal information in connection to your domain to a 3rd party service, who may sell or share this information publicly. TinkerHost cares about your privacy and recommends that the “Domain Privacy” feature is not disabled at any time to protect your personal information. TinkerHost is not responsible for incidents stemming from or related to the sharing of personal information via WHOIS services.

IX. Revoking Consent

To revoke your consent to these Terms, remove all domains from your TinkerHost Domain Platform account, then send an email to domain_revoketosconsent[@]tinkerhost.net from your account email address. You will still be legally bound to this document until you receive an email from TinkerHost explicitly stating you are no longer bound to this document.

Alternatively, you may delete your Service account at any time. Please refer to the base Terms of Service for additional information.
